All About Brandon

Cute thing happened today. Lee, Brandon and I were having breakfast this morning. Brandon was being his adorable self and not eating his eggs when the following occured:

M: Brandon, how are so darn cute?
B: I-don-no

My heart skipped a beat.

In one, completely random phrase, it is established why B is so darn cute.

It's a tub picture, but I had to share this expression with all. I have a "crazy" but happy baby!

Just for fun. Daddy's boy.

What the?

Brandon had 3 whole pieces of pizza yesterday. His favourite part was taking small bites from the big piece. He likes to be a more like mommy and daddy. He wants to be a big boy.

Brandon has found himself in a new routine, which he loves. In the evenings, after supper, I take B to the park. He loves to warm up with the swing. After a mild protest, he loves going down the slide. He likes to spin any plastic blocks, he sees. The wheels fascinated him at first, now he is more bored with them. After about half an hour, he wraps up with a final swing. Then we go home and share a small bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Sweet!

B loves being outside. Lets just hope the weather co-operates with this new routine.

On Saturday, Brandon had his big birthday party. Family and friends came. It was a big day. Brandon had a nap before his party began. The party took so much out of Brandon, he needed a nap half way through.

The party started shortly after 1pm and did not end until after 7pm. No wonder B was so tuckered out. I would be too.

B thanks everyone who was able to make it out for his party. He really is happy that you all made it to make his special day...well, special.

Only some of the pictures have captions. I am not that witty. I did my best. If you can think of something better, feel free to share it. But tell me what photo.

Spidey, sex machine?
All the kids had a great time playing together and playing with the toys.
Below, are the highlights of B's present opening. He got lots of loot!
"Ooh, what's in there?"
"Hey, get your hand out of there, daddy!"
"Do I eat that or play with it?"
"You can't have that! Mine!"
"Hey, there's more of these things."
"Hey dude, check these things out with me."

"Another present, for me?"
"Ah, you know that's not for you, right dad?"

Mitchel and Izzy enjoyed the ball popper. It was a big hit with all the kids.
"No, no dad. I wanna open it. Let me do it."
Everyone was eager to lend a helping hand to B, when it came to playing with his toys.
"Hee, hee! That tickles."

"Ooo, I like balls. They are my favourite."

"Peek-a-ball?"
"Hey! I want to play with this truck. Why is tied to this stupid cardboard?""

"Hey! I am drinking, but I get nothing but air. What a rip!"
"Aw, future boo-boo's. That makes me sad. But, at least I am prepared."

Only 1 and B is already contributing to the helping the enviroment. Way to go, sweetie!

For a special treat, Peter dressed up like Spider-man. B was immedietly drawn to the masked hero. Although, some of the other kids had questionable feelings when the Spidey made an appearance. Looks like Spidey will be a big hit with B for a long time.

The results of Brandon's cake experiment, are below. I am just amazed he kept his outfit clean.

Kissy-kissy!
Finger testing again.
Brandon's cousin Mackenzie, and aunt Trudy, made a fashinably late appearance.
Brandon and auntie Colleen, opening a present together.

After all the guests had gone, B was given his final present from his parents. A cuddly spiderman.
